I almost did not think it was important. Then I started reading other posts about getting referrals and I realized that's how I grow my property management business. Sales agents get referrals from other agents, their current and past clients, friends and relatives. Property managers get OUR referrals from other property managers, current clients and other agents. When I was discussing with current clients about some referrals they had given me, I had not realized that my turning DOWN business would get me a If you don't have one yet, keep blogging and it will come. Very nice. I read your post and commented on it. I can understand that your clients didn't hear WHY you declined the business. People are funny that way. They like to blame the other person.
