"I have not yet heard people in the Republican Party admit they have a problem," Beck told a packed ballroom in Washington. "I have not seen a come-to-Jesus meeting. . . . 'Hello, my name is the Republican Party and I've got a problem. I'm addicted to spending and big government.' . . . They need that moment."

Yeo. We do need someone to finally admit to it. I hope it happens but it won't.
He took BOTH parties to the woodshed and the CROWD went WILD!!!!
Wallace,
Great title and quote. It is the progressives we have to fear, and true conservative leaders need to come to the front. :)

Steve: Really? It is the PROGRESSIVES we have to fear??? What about the fanatics? According to Winston Churchill, "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject."
Take a good look at Glen Beck and his zealous fans and compare them to Keith Olbermann and his. Then OMG, pick a major religious leader (any religion - Muslim or otherwise) and his/her followers and compare with Glen and Keith... All sides display very strict standards and little tolerance for contrary ideas or opinions. They are frightfully similar.
I maintain that it is the fanatics - political and religious - that we need to deal with (not fear).
And for the record, the Progressive movement is and always has been about tolerance and freedom. Tolerance of ideas, human rights and freedom to exist. We women owe our right to vote largely to those in the Progressive movement who fought so hard for it.
