Congratulations to Denny Hamlin of Chesterfield, VA * Driver of the #11 FedEx Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing....He stayed up front all day, took 4 tires 10 laps from the finish, started 3rd on a 4 lap shoot out and booted Matt Kenseth and passed Jeff Gordon to win.  NOW, he goes in for surgery Wednesday for a damaged ACL.

SURPRISE!!!  Jimmie Johnson is now LEADING the NASCAR Cup championship points!!  Denny Hamlin is now 15th in the standings.

I was so rooting for Jeff to win, dammit!  I only got to watch the last half of the race because I just couldn't stand not watching it anymore.  Denny did deserve to win.  He had the best car the entire day.  Jeff just missed it.  I know he's going to get another win sometime this year and then he will tie Cale Yarlborough for the 5th most winningest driver ever in NASCAR history.

Wallace,

I'm glad Jimmie is ahead right now. That will help in future rained out qualifying. I saw the end of the race, so I know Hamilin got to the front from 15th. My question is how? :)
