NASCAR.com is reporting that "Mrs. The King" is in good health and that the CNS * central nervous system * lymphoma that she has suffered from for several months has been eliminated. The KING has taken a step back from racing and has not been seen at the track since Daytona as his wife was being treated for her disease.
Lynda Petty has stayed out of the racing world after having been a "racing wife in a racing family" for years. She is immortalized as Mrs.The King in the movie, CARS.
