Prospective renters should always use a trusted property management company. Craigs list has so many scams but can still be a great resource for selling an old tv.

We had this happen with one of our homes here about a year ago. The scammers had the same house as we were advertising at half the rental rate. Can't tell you how many calls I had from buyers that I had to warn of the problems on Craigs List.
