NASCAR Owner Jack Roush Injured in Plane Crash in WI

Known as "the cat in the hat" around NASCAR tracks, Jack Roush * owner of Roush Fenway Racing *  is a pilot had has numerous planes including a P-51 Mustang which is what my father flew in WWII.  Roush was returning from WI after attending the Annual Experimental Aviation Show.  Roush Fenway Racing spokesperson indicates he was taken to a local hospital and his injuries may require surgery.

OK!  OK!  I'll say it * let's hope for a SPEEDY recovery for Jack!!!

I hope Jack will be ok.  He has been a genius at both racing and the business of racing... for a VERY long time.

With the looks of that plane just after landing he is very lucky that he or the passenge did not get hurt really bad.

Apparently Jack was at MIS for the race this weekend and has lost his left eye in the crash.  His team PR department says he will have a co-pilot in the future~!
