PropertyManagementMaven: SOMEBODY!! Please tell the White House that FORD DID NOT take the Auto Bailout!

SOMEBODY!! Please tell the White House that FORD DID NOT take the Auto Bailout!

I am not a FORD fan.  I had Ranger pickups in a former life and I remember the term Fix Or Repair Daily......Ford did NOT take the government auto bailout because they had sufficient capital including 20% stake in Mazda.

Harry Reid has MISTAKENLY mentioned Ford being bailed out by the government AND NOW WH Press Big Mouth Robert Gibbs has mentioned that he doubts that Rush Limbaugh drives an F-150....HELLO!  Rush had GM as an advertiser for several years - LOVED their cars * he and his staff were given various models to drive by GM and they raved about them on the radio * HOW COOL is THAT?!

However, when the GOVERNMENT took over GM and they asked Rush to continue with their advertising, he said NO.  He did not want to advertise something AT TAXPAYER EXPENSE!

Rush is a man of principal and has mentioned on his show that he had no problem with the cars * he just did not want to be involved in the government auto bail out.

Ford should run the government.

No bail out and the only traded car company of the big 3

Enjoy the day

But wait, now Government Motors comes out with the Chevy Volt electric car. It only costs $41,000 and has a range of 40 miles!

We need to clean house period!  As long as there are two aisles, we are always going to have a lot of pissed off people.  Vote your conscience and what your jurisdiction wants, not your party.

Wallace - when you are in charge you own "history", the government bailed out FORD (by the way, I have a Ranger, 6 years old, still running fine), FoxNews got Sherrod fired, Obama was in charge of the oil leak operations from day 1, the checks in the mail, even though we have lost over 3 million jobs since coronation, we've really gained 2.5 million jobs.

Wallace, can't complaint about my Ford too much.  2001 Escort ZX2, 178,000 miles so far.  Some expected repairs here and there, not the most comfortable car in the world, but it meets my daily needs and get mid 30 mpg, and is paid for!  We use Liz's Miata for customer visits, mine's for hauling the signs around!

I absolutely love my 99 Chevy Silverado truck, which runs like new after 125,000 miles. I also have a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I like a lot. Now that they're both govt. owned, I'll never buy another one. We all need to be principled with our actions.

No slap to FORD ♥ Their TRUCKS are GREAT!  I moved on to Chevy Blazers and then Lexus RX as I got older.....plus my dog locked me OUT of my truck and I had to pay a child to go in through the center sliding window to open the auto doors.

Wallace,

My opinion of Ford as a company has changed. Always was partial to Chevy - no longer. :)

Man they just can't get it RIGHT!!! I have some Ford stock and it's cool that it just keeps going up. The fact that they didn't take a bail out has helped them in my opinion!

Wallace- I drive a Ford F150 and I'm proud to drive an American brand and that they did not take the bailout money.  Ford does seem to be doing very well these days.

Elitist at the White House are disparaging F-150s AND Rush * HOW unAmerican can one get?

I agree Wallace- maybe they are pissed that Ford didn't take their money & isn't dependent upon the WH like GM was?

This WH hates independent folks who work hard for themselves & create their own fortune & their own stability.  If you don't NEED a handout, you usually don't vote for them.

Alright Ford! Keep walking and growing on your own! What's up with the WH?

With all of the money the White House is throwing around, you can't expect them to be bothered to remember whose money it is or where they are throwing it...

The more I realized Ford was not going to take the bail out, the more stock I bought.  It has worked out great!
