Apparently his new book is at the publishers and he and Laura are out and about! Bush 43 has been to Haiti and was seen greeting returning soldiers at DFW airport by USO photogs. YES! I MISS HIM!

Of note, I really think a lot of Laura from what I know (read & saw on television). I like George as well ... just wasn't my cup of tea on the Presidency thing.
He is a genuine fellow. Too bad more aren't like him...
I think Bush has been very smart in staying quiet through out these 20 months, he has let Obama hang himself - all by himself.
Even some of the left are starting to say this administration is at a point they can no longer look back, they have to look at the present and move ahead. With Bush not responding to any of the baiting he has not given the left a continual stream of comments to focus on. Good Move!
I hope he is more "visible" on his fall book tour

I was at the Texas Rangers game against the dreaded Yankee's the other night (8/11) and "W" was sitting there with Laura in the owners box beside the Rangers dugout. He got a standing ovation when they announced they were in the house.
