A billion years ago, I was an on-site resident manager. I can remember taking resident phone calls for 2 days about potential gas leaks. When I called the local gas authority, I found they had emptied a new batch of STINK into the local natural supply and it had not disbursed through the system.....natural gas is just that NATURAL * the SMELL has to be ADDED.

Gosh you look great for your age, Wallace! The topic led me to think about the 'sulphur' smell we often associate with well water.
In Florida the rotten egg smell comes from the hot water heater when it has been sitting a while. But of course now we also have to worry about Chinese drywall when we smell that rotten egg smell!

Wallace - I am damned glad that I am not a postal worker in the area. I read this earlier, if we did something like that homeland security would be all over us.
