NASCAR's three Bristol races are in the record books for more reason that one. Kyle Busch won the Camping World Truck race on Wednesday night in his OWN KBI truck; then he won the Nationwide race on Friday night in a Toyota Camry and THEN, last night, he won the Cup race last night for the FIRST time for a SWEEP/three-peat. This was only his second race for last night's sponsor * Doublemint gum * and apparently they are VERY pleased.
After the race, Busch indicated he had tried several times in the past and had not quite put all of the race wins together. He is now 3rd in the CUP standings having moved up 5 spots on last night's race!!!

I watched the race last night, saw it on the sports page this morning and now the first post I read today! Yep, I do not like this arrogant guy but he did win three!
Gary * he cultivates the "bad boy" image and has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to NC and LV charities. When he passed Sam Ard's Nationwide series wins and heard that Sam was in financial trouble, Kyle gave the Ard family monies.
He is a JOY to watch on the racetrack
The best part that I like...I love to see them changing four tires in a few seconds...
I loved the way he won the Nationwide ! He made Carl Edwards nite by teaching Brad K. not to mess with Mr. M&M !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it just luck or does this guy really have success running through his veins?!
I think he is a MORE talented driver than this brother and he just needed to mature as a driver. He is getting there.
He is extremely talented, Wallace. I don't like his arrogance at all. But he seems to revel in it. And I have to applaud that. He hasn't earned the nickname "Vile Kyle" for nothin', ya know? I'm also grateful to him as a Jeff Gordon fan because now he gets the majority of the "boos". =)
Heather * I never heard "Vile Kyle"; however, his truck has " Rowdy Busch" on it with #51 in honor of Days of Thunder Rowdy!!!
I think I'm still on the hate hime side but he's growing on me :-). No doubt is was a great weekend for him. Also his winning percentage is about 9% which puts him right up there with the very top drivers. He's definitely a driver to be reckoned with whether you like him or not.
Kyle is winning with everyone these days, even the Nascar officials at the race in Texas this weekend.
The #24 crew pitting the #48 car was the STORY of the RACE * The Altercation of the "Jeffs" aside!
