CA Legislature to Vote to BAN CA Landlords from REQUIRING Cats be Declawed, Neutered, Etc.

I have never even thought of requiring that rental prospects or residents have their cats DEclawed, neutered or their pets DEvocalized.

My dogs' actually talk to me and tell me when they need water and food, and my GIRL DOG, says "Good Morning" to me every morning when she wakes me up.

Kudos to CA legislators for introducing this legislation and SHAME on California landlords for NOT thinking through these ONEROUS operations and the detriment to the pet's health and happiness of their residents.

Hi Wallace.  That has got to be one of the most stupid laws ever passed.

WOW -- I never heard of a landlord requiring a cat to be declawed.  I've always hated that practice.  Calif. has some interesting laws and I'm glad they're repealing this one.

I'm happy to hear that!

Declawing can be simply defined as an amputation and is just like the elimination of the fingers of the human hand at the last knuckle.
